Death options and consequences
Table of consequences
I recently started gming a daggerheart table and I feel that the death option that allow players to just not die without any consequence can kill the tension.
so, I was thinking about the possibility of make a "consequence table" to use when they choose this option.
with that, depending of the table, the player could lose an item, one max hope, mark one HP or stress (it could be permanent or to need some long term "project" to heal) and maybe if they roll pretty badly (like a natural one on the table) maybe lose one point of trait.
but, I'm struggling to rank theses consequences and put a smaller chance for the worst ones.
what do you guys think? is that a good idea? how can I improve this ? should I put some good consequences if the roll high on this table ?
