Oura Ring battery suddenly terrible + won’t connect… did I ruin it?

I’ve had my Oura Ring for about a year now, and the battery has gotten REALLY bad out of nowhere. It used to last several days, but now I barely get 24–48 hours, and sometimes I get a low battery notification just a few hours after fully charging it.

On top of that, the last few days it hasn’t been connecting to the app at all — like it just won’t detect my ring.

The only thing I can think of is that I literally never take it off except to charge. I wear it 24/7, including in the shower. Could that have messed up the battery or something over time?

Has this happened to anyone else around the 1-year mark? Did Oura replace your ring or give you any solution? Or is this just normal battery degradation?

Any advice would be super helpful because this is honestly frustrating for how expensive it is.
