Skip Wrestlemania

The only way we as a fanbase can show TKO we disapprove of everything they’ve done around this Wrestlemania is to make the difficult decision and not watch this year.

It’s not that hot of a take, but it’s never been easier to do y’all. Third parties put out the clips all over social, so you can see all the ‘moments’ they artificially create. The superstars are making their money regardless, so you’re not taking bread off their table. AEW will have (likely) a much better wrestling show the week before.

If TKO sees those streaming numbers down 100-300k from the year before, that hurts their advertisers and that’s when things happen for the better.

I’m not calling for a boycott. I’m not telling you that you should skip the show, but I’m saying we hold the power, but it comes with a difficult price. I’ve been watching WrestleMania live damn near every year for the last 20 years, but with the lackluster build and the blatant corporate synergy nonsense we’re being fed, it’s the first time I think I’m okay passing…

What say you?
