Apple music family share on Android

I'm trying to add my wife to the family plan on apple music, when I go to Add Family Members, it prompts me to sign in and then I hit continue and it just keeps prompting me to sign in evrytime I hit continue. anyone else experience this issue? I've tried uninstalling the app, reinstalling, clearing the date/cache.
