Anyone here get citizenship with just your parents being Italian born / married?

Do I Qualify?

I'm just looking for clarification -- My parents are Italian, born, married there in the 60s. Came to Canada and didn't get their Canadian citizenship until I was an adult (18+).

I've spoken with a few assistance companies, they've all confirmed I'm eligible. I just don't want to spend all that money with them, so I'm doing this myself, with minimal help from my consulate who's being very little help right now.

Aside from the basic form, I see I need my long firm birth certificate, and an official copy of my parents marriage certificate, and I'll mail all that in / send to my consulate to mail in and apply.

What am I missing from this? And has anyone else done it this way, where your parents automatically qualify you.

Thank you! This sub has been invaluable with all of this.
