GC in Roseville MN had used DT 700 Pro X for $100. Bought. So far, so good.

I have been curious about the DT 700 Pro X or DT 800 specifically. These were dead mint used, and the serial checked out.

I really enjoy the frequency response of KRK KNS 8400 for mixing and for listening. I've mixed entire projects on them, and they translate very well. I am very used to them, and I like them.

The Beyerdynamic are 100% more comfortable with more isolation. The stereo image is superior. The detail is superior. I don't know if that means mixes will translate as well, but after day one, I can say I'm appreciating them quite a bit.
