UW-Seattle CS vs. Georgia Tech ECE (Will declare either EE or CE)
Hi guys, thanks for reading this if you do. I have been kind of a bum in high school, haven't really gone deep into either CS or Engineering, so I don't really have a specific interest in either major.
I like math, biology, chemistry, and problem-solving, and am looking for a technical degree. I think both schools are pretty good, but which would you prefer?
I think Georgia Tech gives me more flexibility (can switch easily between engineering, into math+cs, CS (to some degree but not banking on it), math. etc.
At UW, I'm in-state, so it's pretty convenient, but once I switch out of CS, I can't switch back in, and the other departments in STEM are not as strong as CS. I think I'm in the top branch at UW.
Location-wise, both seem good, but UW has the clear advantage of Big Tech.
Georgia tech is 53/yr and UW is 38k/yr but my parents are happy with paying both.
