Stage 3 Suq treatment help

I thought I was getting better at the sub q treatment but my treatment 4 he has now figured out what is going on and fights like hell. I can't keep the needle in him long enough to do anything. We have like a cat swaddle but he can get out of it and it's a nightmare wrangling him in the first place. Tried warming up bag and doing it in his carrier and with food but he's too smart. He's also so small it's like he can dissolve his bones and squirm away from anyone plus his damn talons. I just want to do whatever I can to extend his life but this is not working right now. I don't want to give up yet but I need help on solutions or alternatives.
