Investigator showed up at my house? OKLAHOMA

Location: Oklahoma

So, I live in Oklahoma. Today is Easter Sunday. I was getting ready to take my son to his dad's family's house for Easter. My TV was blaring, I had music playing on my phone. I thought I heard some knocks at my door but I wasn't sure cuz of all the loud noise and I didn't have all my clothes on. When I went to look to see who it was, it was a guy with a blue t-shirt on and he had a silver chain with a badge on it like a police badge but he wasn't dressed in police clothing. he did not leave a card or anything. I went to go put clothes on I'm assuming he was knocking for a while because by the time I went back to the door, he was gone. I have a few ideas of what it could be about but I'm not certain. I don't know who to contact to be like okay who came to my door and why... because if it was for something Criminal I would assume they would have a search warrant or they wouldn't just go away you know what I mean? I know it wasn't CPS because they don't just carry badges on them like that and I don't have any reason for CPS to be knocking at my door. I have one theory of the fact that my child care benefits are being canceled because my son's dad used my mailing address as his mailing address on his new employment. he hasn't had a job in Forever he can barely keep a job and I didn't know that he had used my address. I know that it also looks on paper that he lives with me because I was in a situation where I needed to find an apartment ASAP and you're supposed to make like 3 to 4 times over what you make to qualify for an apartment and I was afraid the fact that my felony charges at the time were not over 5 to 7 years old which most Apartments here require and I have two evictions on my record so I didn't want to pay a bunch of different application fees to apply at different apartments just to be denied. I had found an apartment that just went by credit checks it didn't need paycheck stubs for a one bedroom. I didn't have good credit because I have a default judgment on me and a garnishment against me. my son's dad just so happened to have good credit so I had him apply for me so he's on my lease. So on paper it looks like he lives with me but he doesn't. DHS was grilling me on this when I went to do my child care benefit renewal and I tried to give them all the information and proof they needed but the problem was is I haven't had electric in my name since 2016 and I owed the only electric company that we can use or that I've ever used anywhere was OG&E and he wasn't using his Electric in his name at the time so I put it in his name as well cuz I didn't have enough money to pay first month's rent plus a deposit plus pay off the electric company that I owed the only one we can use that everyone here uses plus pay the deposit that they require when you start up new Services somewhere else. I'm sorry this is so long I just had to explain my situation. what should I do? it's just so strange. I just let them cancel my childcare but do they send investigators to check into stuff esp on a Sunday esp Easter Sunday?
