Nearly 20 days in, cold turkey.
Just wanted to share another update, I think i’m at around day 17. This will probably be my last update and I hope I can motivate some of you.
The first three days were a little challenging, but not even close to impossible. You have to treat your cravings as little flies. Catch them, smack them, realize they are just thoughts. Remind yourself you are DONE. And then the craving will disappear after 5-10 minutes. The key to quitting vaping is having awareness.
I didn’t have any physical withdrawals. As of now, I don’t really have cravings at all, my appetite feels great. I am able to take walks and workout without feeling like my blood is pumping through the roof. Circulation feels better. Lower resting heart rate.
Dopamine levels feel a lot more regulated, feels like I’m able to laugh normally and not feel so numb all the time and i’m not always chasing some dopamine fix.
Maybe once a day a quick buzz slip my mind for a second but I’ll just flick it away.
Maybe non-related but my skin is also a lot better. You can do it!
