Got punched and threatened with a knife downtown today by a homeless man…in broad daylight at 1P.M. on Church and Wellesley Unprovoked

was walking around church & wellesley today and some guy just straight up punched me in the back for no reason. turned around like wtf and ngl i was heated and wanted to do something back but didn’t. then 2 seconds later he pulls a knife on me and starts pointing finger guns at me ? so i just backed off and diffused it

i’m fine but that whole thing just pissed me off. like in reality if i reacted i’d probably be the one getting in trouble and he just goes on w his day like nothing happened.

i’ve always tried to be empathetic to ppl going thru stuff on the street but after this it’s just frustrating. been in toronto for a year now for school and stuff like this just makes u feel on edge for no reason.

anyone else been noticing this more lately?
