Which breed should I get?

I would be a first time dog owner. I live in a large house with a backyard (no fence) in Michigan where winters are long and cold, with no other kids or pets. I'm looking into medium/large sized dogs that preferably don't bark too much. I really just want companionship, something easy to train! I work from home a lot as well.

My top options:

Greyhound

Bordie Collie

Poodle

I'm leaning toward greyhound because I just find them incredibly endearing :) Also they like sleeping alot and I like to take naps.
