Scary dream after praying to Mother Mary and Jesus

I’m not Christian or Catholic, but lately I’ve been feeling really emotional around Easter. I’ve been seeing a lot of reels on social media about Jesus and Mother Mary, and it’s been affecting me deeply. Thinking about the crucifixion and everything they went through has been overwhelming. I actually found myself sobbing over it.

Last night, I decided to pray to Jesus and Mother Mary. But around 3 a.m., I had a really frightening dream that felt incredibly real. In the dream, my toddler, who sleeps with me, was crying a lot, and I couldn’t move. There was a red light coming from outside the room, but I was too scared to check it. I remember trying to open my eyes because I knew I was dreaming. Then I felt something to the right of me, panicked, and pulled the blanket over my face. When I woke up, I was terrified.

It took me about an hour to calm down and fall back asleep. It honestly felt like sleep paralysis. This has only happened to me twice before, both after having my baby, and never before that.

What do you think? I was really shaken by the whole experience.
