How TF do you make friends??

I’ve always been chronically online, I don’t think I’ve ever know a life without social media. but back then, it was ACTUALLY SOCIAL. I remember making friends on MySpace, Facebook groups, tumblr, deviantART, etc. Over the last few years, it’s felt more isolating than ever. I’m sure my accounts have been shadow banned because of the politics I have lol, but it’s so lonely.

I had a group of friends I met online that I would meet up with at a local bar where we would get together and crochet. But over the last year, it’s pretty much died out. I have a small group of friends I hang out with every week or so, but they are all disabled in one way or another and can’t hang out as much as we would like.

I would love a group of friends to meet up with for drinks every once in a while, or go to thrift stores sometimes, or get together and craft with. But the only people who l see at crafting get togethers are homophobic grannies 🥲
