My Application-to-Possession Timeline: August 2025 - April 2026

I know I was constantly scouring for updated timelines, so posting mine for those in the same boat. Applied for both r/s and ccw.

Mid-August 2025: Application Submitted

October 14, 2025: Fingerprinting/Interview

February 21, 2026: Both applications approved

February 27, 2026: r/S license in hand

March 1, 2026: Purchase handgun and submit through portal

March 31, 2026: PA approved, license issued

Postmark April 2, 2026: CCW license sent out

April 4, 2026: Pick up handgun

Hit the range for first time today. Perhaps in another post, I'll talk about my newly re-affirmed opinions on the ammo restrictions... (I got a revolver, and of course Licensing Division only listed .357 on my license...)
