Called supply drops extremely unrewarding?

Found more valuables from the drone crates than those loud af supply drops. 4 crates with green and blue stuff, takes years to arrive, heard and seen from everywhere near (also spawns very closely to the hot POIs) and even does damage when leaving which delays my disengagement further.
