why dont they just make the batches weekly?

genuine question, like okay we're doing batches again but would releasing the batches of episodes week by week not just solve the issue? clearly netflix forced ep 1 out way too soon and put dp in a weird spot. if a weekly release for the entire series is hard to sustain quality wise, weekly for the batches of already finished episodes would put a slight fix on the pr problem. everyone wins. less time between releases, the community stays engaged, and people have a reason to renew their subscription instead of unsubbing until the next batch. is netflix stupid?
