Dog is loosing his sight, hitting himself constantly in the eyes.
We are 3 people at home (technically 6 but they don't take care or are not allowed to take care of the dog).
2 of us take care of the dog from 3pm till around 2am,1 takes care of him from 10 am till 3pm.
I'm at my wits end. started 2 years ago and now is getting more recurrent. I don't know what he is hitting, or why is always directly in his eyes. suggested to the 6 to add some Baby proofing for corners and they keep regecting cause they think that won't solve the issue cause we don't know what he has been hitting.
went to the vet and he is loosing his sight due to age, and being exacerbated by all of the hits.
On Friday I saw his eye had yucky spot, nothing out of the ordinary except for the color, cleaned it up and that was that. Today I noticed he was squinting on said eye and was very yucky, same color as friday and saw the hit in his cornea. He hasn't hit himself in my watch, and I don't know if the hit happened today or since Friday.
I really don't want to think badly of who takes care of him in the mornings. I haven't seen him hit anything and the morning person claims the same, and in life terms the morning person is way more responsible than we are. Anger just wants me to put the blame on them, my mind is not rational right now. But I'm ragefull that the only measures I'm allowed to take are after he hits himself.
