is the bible inspired?

I recently read "the invention of the inspired text", by John c. Poirier. I wanted to ask if someone could point me to more literature on the topic of inspiration. I would also appreciate it if someone could tell me if there are maybe some traditionalist scholars who argue against Poiriers view or provide counter arguments.
