Disability and giving it a go…

Troops… I’ve been toying with the idea of learning to ride for years, but as a young fella my old lad was always dead against it, and as an older fella my partner is.

Relatively recently I’ve hit the mark of being categorised as disabled due to a degenerative arthritic condition, put on a fair bit of weight cos exercising is really hard, and cracked the shits, so I thought 🤬 it, I think I do wanna do it, but I’ve got some issues that make riding a normal manual clutch really difficult.

So a few of questions;

1. Does riding a scooter translate to a “proper” bike eventually?

2. Are automatic bikes (Benda Moto in this case) any good?

3. How long does it take to be comfortable on the bike in traffic, and at speed?

4. Am I absolutely kidding myself?
