Legacys end is a mess

The quest keeps soft locking. I finally got to the point where were attacking the key and when the united colonies ship shows up it kills my ships controls and leaves me unable to move aim or shoot and eventually i die from being unable to do anything. Ive tried god mode which just becomes eternal suffering. Ive tried restarting my game. And ive tried leaving the pilot seat. And my last manual save was 2 irl days ago. Im ready to rage quit.
