Is alcohol allowed???

My officer said alcohol is allowed and stuff but I thought you not allowed to do it? Is it only my state or everyone can ? Thought no drugs were allowed was she testing me? I’m not a drinker or really liked it so I’m chilling just thought it was weird to mention
