Backrooms Exit Idea (Good Ending)
I came up with this final level idea to the backrooms that I'd like to hear other's opinions on. I didn't know if I should post this in discussion or levels because this isn't an official level since I just made it up. You start off in Level Memories, the final museum. Now, this level has an exhibition for every single backrooms level ever. One of these exhibits (the one I'll be focusing on) can only be seen if you've been able to go into & escape/leave at least one of a few specific levels (I haven't come up with which ones but some good some bad like run for your life).
The exhibit looks like one of those museum movie theaters, yk like the one's where they show short films about the Egyptians or The Renaissance Era. There is one ticket booth with a single ticket waiting for you to pick up, the film title on the ticket is gibberish like "g̸̛͚̦̭̔l̶̛̺͗̆i̶͇̅̀̈́t̴͓̩̣̓͑ć̸͍͑ͅḥ̴̔ỵ̸͋͂͒ ̶̡̘͈̿̏̚g̶̯̞͂ͅi̵̳̩̺̍̌̉b̵̩̘̭̿̓b̸͎̘̲̒ẻ̶̱̬̦̈́̑r̷̢̝̳͋͒í̴̮̻̙̿s̸̢̭̉͛͌ḧ̶͔̳́͝ ̸̜̔̆̚t̶̯̿ĩ̶̪̹̀͠ṱ̵̨́l̵̬͘è̸̱̼̰͛" and cannot be read by you. Outside the theater there is a table with all your favorite snacks, drinks, and of course popcorn! You walk into the theater only to find a bunch of paparazzi screaming your name, calling out to interview & take pictures of you. A mysterious figure resembling an employee of the museum, the only one, comes up to you to take you to your seat.
As you walk deeper into the theater, you are met with every single entity, good or bad, that you've encountered throughout your time in the backrooms. Before you try to run away, the employee assure's you that the entities are friendly and have zero intentions on hurting you, in fact they all act like they're your friends! They complement you, have conversations with you, and are very excited for the film. You make it to your seat and the lights dim.
The Museum Presents "Y/N | Journey Through The Backrooms," is projected onto the screen. The whole crowd begins cheering. A twenty-thirty minute film about your time in the backrooms starts playing. Everything you've done has been documented through your POV, hidden cameras, entity POVs, etc. You had zero knowledge of being filmed and are very confused as to how they got footage from your own POV but oh well! The whole film is highlights from your time in the backrooms. Your highs, lows, and of course funniest moments. The film ends with a message thanking you for coming to the backrooms and congratulates you for making it out and lets you know that your time in the backrooms is finally over and you will never have to return again.
The walls, floor, and roof of the theater break into pieces. Only you, the entities, and the screen are left floating in the sky, above the clouds. "Thank you for coming Y/N, we will miss you very much" is written on the screen. Those words fade out and "Goodbye, Y/N" is the final shot of the film. All the entities say goodbye, the theater erupts in bittersweet tears and everyone is cheering your name. Your chair then begins to fall quickly through the clouds, down to the ground. Right before you hit the ground you blink only to see you're in the exact same spot, same position, frozen exactly where you were when you first no clipped into the backrooms. You have a minute to come to terms with what just happened and then the world unfreezes and you are back to doing whatever you were doing before you entered the backrooms. All your memories from the backrooms are erased, all your injuries gone, everything is back to normal and you have no clue what horrors you just went through. Some nights you might dream about it but you'll think it's just a normal nightmare that your mind came up with. Your life continues on like nothing ever happened and you will never have to return to the backrooms again.
This is a good ending that I came up with, I hope you guys liked it and sorry for the long read haha. Let me know your thoughts :D
