Experiences with KUBA (semester)?

Hi, I'm thinking of trying to switch into KU's study abroad program this fall and was wondering if anyone who previously attended for a semester could share their experience with KUBA/meeting people!

I'm currently registered for Yonsei through UCEAP but am a bit worried at how segregated international students seem to be. I am first gen Korean American so I'd like to meet some domestic students too; it woukd be nice to have friends to visit when I come to visit my family in the future.

I'm not really the type of person who feels very comfortable making friends when going out (talking to strangers at clubs as opposed to making friends in university/school clubs and going out with them) so I'm pretty nervous about meeting people in a university setting. I've heard good things about KUBA from some friends but am just looking for any more things to consider before deciding whether I want to request a switch so any info is welcome, thank you :)
