Curious about Veja sizing

Hi there, I'm looking for some insight into the size conversion for EU to US for the Venturis, as the title says. My foot is about 10" and I wear a US 10.5-11 depending on the shoe. According to Veja, 10" puts me between an EU 40 and 41, making me an M7 or M8 in the US. It feels so far from what I'm used to that I'm not confident I'll end up with a viable size.

Has anybody dealt with the same thing I'm going through? I'd really appreciate some help.
