India isn't "non-aligned" anymore and nobody wants to admit it.
For decades, since Nehru to modi India built its identity around strategic autonomy. No capitalism or communism,No fixed alliances.
But look closer today:
– Defense ties with the US & Israel are deeper than ever
– Tensions with China define long-term strategy, no clear strategy to fight china
– Russia is still a key partner but increasingly complicated
So what are we now? Still non-aligned… or just selectively aligned?
Is this smart statecraft or quiet hypocrisy?
Curious to hear: Has India outgrown non-alignment, or just rebranded it? what do you think? should india choose a side?
