Adderall ??

doctor prescribed me 10mg of addrerall after the last medication made me extremely nauseous. I took 10mg today at 10am and by 2pm I completely crashed. I could barely keep my eyes open. the 4 hours before I felt great. is this normal? I really don't want to be taking it multiple times a time. I've known several people who became addicted to it and it was horrible. I really thought my problem was solved. I'm afraid a larger dose will make me more jittery.

I was diagnosed about 5 weeks ago, so this is all new to me, learning as I go.
