juan and michael

it’s very obvious that michael has a crush on juan. the whole sausage comment and all that i don’t need to put out the evidence for that but did anything every actually happen between them? like sexual i am saying. was anything ever confirmed or speculated about at the time of this whole thing (i’m on season 5 so i am talking about in 2019ish and just at the time of the show)?

here’s why i think like juan actually engaged in it at some point:

1. juan never looks uncomfortable with michael: i get them being buddies before the whole sexual assault stuff. but if someone (a man or woman) was accused of sexual assault by multiple people and then was flirting with me i would be so uncomfortable. juan and michael are joking about doing a bachelor party in vegas just the two of them no cameras and both seem like they are actually laughing about this idea. if i was juan i would get a restraining order, ya know unless i had a secret relationship with him or felt comfortable on a different level. and it doesn’t seem like juan is just doing this to please michael and like keep him happy and quiet and just bc he doesn’t know what else to do it seems like legit banter.

2. juan holding michael back from chris basset: this looked so natural he just like jumped to defend him and hold him back and idk it was super romantic to me for some reason.

3. the whole michael being 100% convinced that juan is not actually proposing again: this could just be bc michael is in denial and has a crush but also could be like in a “no way juan is proposing to her at this party cuz i just gave him sum a month ago” way.

this is just what i collected the last couple episodes in season 5 but there’s probably more. please let me know if i’m onto something or if im making it something it’s not and they are just close friends.
