iPhone running iOS 18 - should I update watchOS to 11?

My iPhone currently runs iOS18, and I plan to keep it that way for the near future.

My watch is currently running watchOS 9.3.1, and it seems like there is a lot of lag time in syncing with my iPhone.

Should I update my watchOS to the latest version (11.6.2)? Will this make it run better with my iPhone?
