Eyekons made me realize how much people need to touch grass and open a book.

credits to tt + the neutral sub.

unless you're below 16, i dont know why it's so hard to register the following:

  1. They are celebrities. Fans are just walking dollar signs for them. Nothing more, nothing less.

  2. Parasocial relationships are abnormal.

  3. This is the internet. And social media. People will criticize and discuss anything and everything. Who gives a fuck if they're your faves

  4. Drug abuse or the glorification of drug usage, even if it's nicotine or alcohol, is objectively, scientifically and socially not good.

  5. Oversexualization of teenagers and young women for entertainment purposes is not good. Maybe read up on why liberal feminism is criticized heavily by more than half the world.

  6. Fetishization of culture and capitalizing on that is also, objectively, not good.

  7. Sending rape and death threats however – grass or oxygen isn't enough. I do recommend some alprazolam and a psychiatrist though.

  8. We need to collectively study how capitalism and the entertainment industry works. we dont know 98% of what's happening behind the scenes. I'm not sure why fans (and sometimes snarkers) act like they know the truth or possible circumstances/situations.

Please, go to school, read a book, take a walk, make friends. They are celebrities who wouldn't even spit in your direction.

I understand likes/dislikes, but fail to understand fan behavior unless you're under 16/17. there is genuinely more to life than unhealthily obsessing over someone who doesn't know you exist.

This all being said, the neutral sub and eyekrusts truly disgust me because i've seen them justify nearly everything, from drug abuse/usage to hyper-sexualization. never felt this repulsed by a fandom in my life & it truly is concerning people like that exist on earth.
