Does it make sense at all to go for an EV if your car is quite fuel efficient? 5.5L per 100km

My Kia picanto uses 5.5L per 100km.

For the commute, it takes 25km to get to work. So 50km in total per work day.

It costs 6.80 to get to work.

I drive 2 days a week, so my weekly fuel cost is 13.60. I may go somewhere on the weekend, but given how fuel efficient the car is, it wouldn’t uses 30 bucks of fuel a week.

30 bucks of fuel a week = 1500 annual cost roughly.

Given all of this, does it make sense to even get an ev?

A brand new EV is 30k ish? Payback period is 20 years.
