[KCD2] helmet visor on PS5.

So this is confusing me. I just did the lions crest quest and got the helmet at the end. A tutorial popped up telling me to hold up on the dpad to put the visor up and down. No matter what I do or how long I hold up the visor doesn't change. What am I missing here?

For the record I've not changed any controls. I'm using default. I can hold the button down for a minute and the map still just comes up.
