The church I grew up in had police outside service this morning

Since becoming an opening and affirming congregation, we’ve had nasty flyers, vandalism, even dead animals left on the front steps. Then on Good Friday, a more direct threat. So Easter worshippers were greeted by a police officer at the door. It‘s depressing to think about such hatred directed at my church home, especially at such a holy time.
