how to stop spending on food?
i spend a lot on food, whether its snacks, take out, groceries... it's not that i can't cook but it takes a lot of time and energy i don't have as a disabled person, some months i spend upwards of $500 on take out/eating out, it's bad
but i can't stop, it's so easy and tasty and i really struggle with cooking tasty, healthy food. i'm luckily not in dire financial straits at the moment, and can hold down a job, but still this is a habit that i know will kick me in the ass eventually because in my brain i can always justify food.
budgeting doesn't help cause i just spend over, and i am trying but i'm wondering if anyone knows how to cut down on spending so much on food? it's the majority of my monthly spending by a long shot and i'd be saving a fair amount if i could even halve my current spending.
any advice on actually effective budgeting, easy meal prep/recipe ideas/tools for cooking as a physically disabled person, or just general other advice would be much appreciated!
