I really don’t feel like I should go to prom but everyone is saying I should

My schools prom is in around two and a half months and originally I was going to go with my group of friends but i’m second guessing myself. I really do not feel like I would actually enjoy going, it doesn’t seem appealing at all. Though, when I told my parents they seemed really disappointed in my idea and told me I should go, same with my friends. Prom just really doesn’t feel like something fun (and I would not enjoy wearing a suit at all), though I am really worried I will end up regretting my decision or get FOMO afterwards, I’m not sure what to do.
