2 years clean from findom after years of relapsing if you’re struggling, don’t give up

Discussion

Couple weeks ago marked 2 years since my last relapse, and honestly I didn’t think I would ever get here. I struggled with this for years, relapsing over and over, sometimes spending thousands a month and getting triggered so easily. It felt like no matter how many times I tried to quit, I would always end up right back in the same cycle.

There was a point where I genuinely believed I just couldn’t quit because of how many times I failed. It felt impossible to break out of. But it’s been a good journey, It hasn’t been perfect tho, and I don’t want to give the impression that everything just magically goes away. Even now, 2 years later, I still get random urges sometimes. They pop up out of nowhere, like a thought in the back of my head. But obviously it's easier to control now lol

Anyways I haven’t been here on reddit in years so I wanted to come on Reddit and just hopefully give some inspiration and hope to anyone here that’s struggling. I was once stuck in that same loop, and back then there really weren’t many examples of people making it out to give me hope.

If you’re going through it right now, don’t give up.

If anyone wants to reach out for advice or has questions, I’m here.
