pano scrobbler getting killed by system despite turning off battery/memory optimization for it

for context i use a samsung galaxy a17 5g and recently switched back to apple music which means i need an external scrobbler, i used pano scrobbler for year prior to android 16 and had no issue after turning off battery optimization but now i can't get it to stop being turned off by the system. anyone have any fix for this?
