39 countries
I’m honestly at a breaking point right now.
I submitted my DACA renewal on November 28th. I now have just 2 weeks left ⏳, and my case is still “processing.” I’ve called USCIS twice, and both times I was told my case presidential policy affecting people from certain countries.
I don’t even know how to process that.
I did everything right. I worked hard , stayed focused, and built a future. I earned my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in engineering . I’ve been working, contributing, paying taxes, trying to grow like anyone else.
And now, out of nowhere, everything feels like it’s slipping.
No clear timeline. No real answers. Just “wait.”
Meanwhile, life doesn’t stop. Bills don’t stop 💸. Loans don’t stop. Credit doesn’t pause just because your case is “on hold.”
And I can’t help but ask—are they trying to make DACA renewals a painful experience? Are delays being used in a way that forces people to lose their jobs? Because if that happens, employers won’t want to hire people with DACA anymore.
And if my credit score tanks 📉 because I can’t legally work… am I the one who gets blamed for that too?
What am I supposed to do?
It’s frustrating because this isn’t just paperwork — this is my life. My career. My stability. Everything I’ve worked for.
I’m not asking for special treatment. Just fairness. clarity.
The most annoying part is all of these things can be avoided by simply allowing DACA recipients automatic extensions until the agency issues a decision.
People are waiting 180 days , I just saw 220 days
That’s horrible can’t imagine what these people are going through.
😖😖
