First helmet

I've been horse riding for about 3 months now, I'm a adult beginner, I've been enjoying it so so much and I know I want to take it more seriously, I really want to get my first bits of gear, and that includes a helmet, the centre I go to already has a shop there with the helmets that have a bit of velvet on the sides, but also the leather ones (I'm sorry I don't know the names of these helmets) I have no clue about helmets, or what is best to get for a first one, I've done research but I haven't really found a clear answer, just looking for some advice.
