My dads paying for my ST Regis room

Need advice. upcoming family trip. My dad is covering everything, 8 nights at the St. Regis with multiple rooms booked. I’m planning to attach my Bonvoy number to my room and want to maximize points

I currently have the Boundless card. Is it worth getting the Brilliant card to take advantage of the point multiplier, or should I stick with what I have?
