After having (and loving) the GTR 3 Pro for a couple years, when the vertical aspect of the digitizer went out (could only scroll sideways, not vertically), it was time for a change. The Balance 2 being more than I budgeted, I was looking for something in the same price range \~$100. Circle-ness would have said to get the Active 2 Round, but as well as they've adapted screens for round screens, logic tells me that square is the more sensible choice for layout of information, plus, I've had some stylish square face mechanical watches in the past (still do for certain occasions).

So, I decided to give the Active 2 Square a shot, as the specs look great and the pictures did too After unboxing, my first thought was that the screen seemed a bit smaller than my GTR 3 Pro (it is). But then, paired with the small 20mm band, it looked downright dainty on my wrist. The included leather strap also tapers, so that only made it worse. I read about a 20mm > 22mm lug connector and same some photos, so thought I would give those a shot, or else Amazon would be getting another return.

Wow! such a simple thing - the watch looks soooo much better and just feels bigger overall. I don't at all think it feels small or dainty now. I love it!

Active 2 Square looks like a different watch with this add-on! Love it!
