How bad is the dating struggle truly?

I got an uncle who’s pretty short, like 5’2-5’3 type of short, and he’s never had a relationship, and he’s 30, but my older brother who is 5’7 has had like multiple relationships since high school and he’s 32 and going to get married in August, I know that it’s a lot different irl than on social media, but like does it get to a point when you’re like 5’2-5’3 where the way it is on social media is like how it is irl.
