This series is also known as \[See You, My King\] or \[Till We Meet Again, My King\]. It's a really good read if you like plot-heavy stories.

Small summary (without too many spoilers) : the story follows the MC, Zhang Li, as he goes on a trip to visit the ruins of an Ancient Egyptian kingdom called Ebiz. While there, he gets attacked by a group of grave robbers and finds himself stuck inside a stone coffin. When he finally manages to get out, he discovers a mysterious stone statue whose existence will completely change the course of his life...

This story is so, so good :

1) The plot is amazing. There's a lot of political intrigue, enemies to watch out for, people scheming 24/7, etc.

2) The main couple is a power couple.

3) There's already an established second couple. And they're great.

4) The art is \*gorgeous\*, from the characters' clothes, to their makeup, jewelry, hairstyles, etc.

5) THE MC IS ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE : he's one of the smartest MC I've \*ever\* seen in BL. He's cunning, he can fight, he's confident and he's also emotionally intelligent and wise. He's a complete menace. Trust me, you'll love him.

5) EVERYONE IS SO HOT.

6) The supporting characters are so interesting. They have roles, they're smart, some of them have hidden motives and agendas. They all feel fleshed-out and not one-dimensional.

Ps : I have a small request : If you've read this series already or once you finish it, could you maybe share your opinion about it in the comments? 🥺🙏 It's one of my favorite BL but it's hard to find people who know about it so I'm curious.

[The King And Me] I love this story so much it's crazy to me how it's not more popular.
