GE washer grinding after hot water and oxiclean
I have a deep fill top load washer that I (stupidly) filled up with hot water and put a cup of oxiclean in to clean the drum. I let it spin for a couple mins, then paused the cycle and left the lid open so it could soak the drum.
I usually use cold water for my washes. This is the first time I've used the hot water in over a year. After about 10 mins I heard the machine clanking and grinding and the pause button wasn't responding. The drum was empty, the agitator attempting to spin but wasn't moving, and the drain pipe was jerking around in the back. I turned off the water intake valves and unplugged the machine. Plugging it back in causes it to jerk and grind again.
From a preliminary search it looks like maybe I need to clear the pressure hose by blowing into it to clear up the suds that may be in there? Unsure how to remove the rest of the suds that may be trapped though once I start it up again. Can anyone advise?
