Midnight vs jet black: how do they look in real life? Are they shiny?

In the photos and videos I seeing in Google and YouTube, both seem shiny. I thought midnight had a matte finish but why in some lighting seem shiny? it looks very similar to jet black but not as glossy.

I live in a small city in Mexico, and the stores here only have in exhibition the silver color, so I can compare them.

How do they look in real life?

How shiny are they really?

one video I saw mentioned that jet black was as shiny as porcelain or glass. Is that true?
