Is Samsclub anything like Walmart?
I'm sure this is seen as a silly question as both are owned by the Waltons and share the same products.
The question is more of the customer base and layout of the store. I usually can only stomach going to Walmart once a year because of the people. Wearing stained pajamas and eating nachos while taking up the entire aisle. Bellies hanging over their cart while they walk as slow as possible. Wild animals, reprobates with no where to go and no where to be. My blood pressure starts to rise just by being in the store for more than ten minutes.
The checkouts are sometimes way too long also, even at the self checkout. So many people need help, they might as well go to a cashier but there's only two cashier lanes open and they are both unbelievably backed up.
Walmart also tends to not carry enough unique items that I'm specifically there for (Kens Ceasar salad dressing, I never see it there for some reason. I never see cherry coke either but if you need gallons and gallons of Hawaiian punch, look no further), the general layout is messy and quality feels low. I don't want or need some high end groceries but Walmart always had the vibe that it stocks things for people who don't even know what quality means. Their ground beef has always been questionable to me.
I've been willing to pay more to go to places like Kroger, Meyers, Giant Eagle, Heinen's, etc but now with the prices going up, I'm looking for better (bulk) alternatives.
My local samsclub is 10 minutes away. The closest coscto is 25 minutes away. I've never been to either.
