Random idea for a manga if anyone wants to take it

Setting: modern ish time, maybe early 2000s so that cellphones are a heavy influence on what kids do.

- takes place at a rural school in the mountains or just a rural town.

Characters: teens, so around 12-17

- Mc: can be whatever gender.

- Friend A: supernatural enthusiast club member. owns a camera that can see ghosts/spirits

- idk who else? teachers, other students, parents, guardians, spirits good and bad ones.

bare bones synopsis/chapter 1:

Mc moves to town, maybe moves to grandparents house, insert sad backstory of dead parents.

Mc is given tour of school with a group of students

Mc sneaks off exploring on his own, shadows dancing just out of the corner of their eye

Ends up somewhere restricted or abandoned.

Hears chuckling and looks around, only seeing shadows of leaves dancing. then notices the other shadows moving irregularly

The shadows attack them and steal their heart. they're dying and starts to see the shadows take more solid forms of ghost/yokai/spirits.

Mc loses consciousness when a portly (means fat) spirit arrives.

Mc wakes up confused what happened. the teacher leading rhe tour earlier scolds the Mc for falling asleep in a random classroom. teacher leaves him with the nurse.

after the nurse leaves telling the Mc to rest. they hear lots of quiet chattering, when they're surrounded by forest spirits (idk like soot sprites or fairies) clamoring around them yelling to the other spirit they're awake.

The portly spirit greets them and tells them what happened, how they got the spirits to help into an empty classroom that humans frequently visit so no more spirits bother them if they stayed alone.

Mc asks how they alive cause they pretty sure without a heart a human can die.

Portly spirit agrees with them and says the Mc is currently alive thanks to the "nicer" spirits keeping him alive. but that wont last long. Mc needs to retrieve his original heart or else he'll permanently die.

idk what else to add this is just a stream of consciousness idea based on a dream I had and I wanted to see it come to life.

ok thats it. I can draw but I cant work on every idea that pops into my head.
