Sharing the links for recipes I \*loosely\* followed for these regular and carrot cake sourdough loaves!

My starter/dough was pretty moist so I added flour as I went, based on how sticky it was.. My great uncle is also into sourdough and does 50/50 flour and spelt; he gave me some spelt so I’m experimenting with that as well!

For the carrot cake one, I probably could have added more flour for the rise but that’s more of a starter problem than the recipe. With the recipe though, the bottom was def a little darker than preferred and the parchment paper stuck to it a bit (even with the baking sheet underneath the Dutch oven). Would recommend baking for a little less time than the recipe suggests.

These are a couple of my best loaves though and, especially for experimenting, I’m pretty proud of the results!
