One month in and I’ve done 2 doses of the 4mg
Male, 6’3”, 270 lbs starting weight, 42 years old.
I’m currently down 8 pounds and still trending in the right direction. The first couple of weeks have definitely come with some fluctuation, which I assume is mostly water weight from things like sodium intake.
I’ve been consistently walking 45 minutes to an hour each night and incorporating some weight training. I’ve done both of these in the past without seeing much progress, so I believe the difference now is the addition of Wegovy.
From what I can tell so far, the effect is twofold. It helps me feel fuller, which makes it easier to stop eating, and it reduces food noise—though not completely at this early stage. That said, the change isn’t dramatic enough yet that I think I would have clearly noticed it without knowing I was taking it, so there may be some placebo effect during the first month.
I also recognize that the exercise is playing an important role. My goal with lifting is to preserve muscle so I don’t end up losing weight but looking “skinny fat.”
