Why don't more people realize the facts about trans people overwhelmingly not being predators?

For example, I just heard there is only one trans person in the Epstein files, and it was a trans girl and she was sadly one of his victims. And overall, trans people are far more likely to be assaulted, sexually and physically, than cis people. Like these are all facts people could look up but so many get caught up in the demonizing narratives against y'all.
